Top Eyeshadow Makeup Palettes Jan 2015
A new year brings new makeup trends, styles, and products. Several
companies are embracing this opportunity for change by releasing brand-new makeup
collections. Check out a few of these exciting new eyeshadow palettes!
Forget just one or two new palettes – Clinique is going
all-out by releasing five! The Wear Everywhere collections include eight shades
each. Choose from pinks, nudes, greens, greys, and blues. The eight shades are
specially chosen to go together perfectly. For example, the “blues” and
“greens” palettes also includes browns, whites, and tans, while “pinks” has
purples and beiges. The “greys” palette has some of the darker colors like deep
brown and black, so it might be a good choice if you’re trying to achieve an eye makeup cat look with eyeshadow.
These two six-shade palettes can be used for so many looks.
One has light shades like flesh-toned neutral and sable coconut, and also dark
colors like midnight gray and deep brown, which are absolutely perfect for a makeup smokey eye look. Vintage gold and
reddish shades finish out this palette. The second starts with dusty lilac and
sheer white; hunter green, sand, and plum shades round it out. Each shade is deep,
shimmery, and gorgeous. To make your eye
makeup dramatic, combine one of the colors with the matte black shade.
“Natural” is a perfect description for this palette. Not
only are the shades themselves mostly neutral, but the eyeshadow is actually
infused with real Amazonian clay. It’s long-lasting and features simple,
wistful names like “Free spirit”, “Wanderer”, “Natural Beauty”, and “Dreamer”.
Whether you prefer true neutrals like cream, nude, or ivory, or shades with a
hint of color like with mauve, pale pink, or dark plum, this palette has what
you need.
Fergie Photo Focus Studio Eyeshadow Palettes by Wet n Wild
These two palettes each include ten “intensely pigmented”
eyeshadows that come in a range of colors and textures. Both include shimmers
and mattes, and while one palette focuses on neutrals, the other includes
brighter colors like pink, lilac, and burgundy. Wet n Wild is famous for its
all-day coverage; it’s always great to be able to wear eye makeup without
having it smudge or fade throughout the day.
If you’re looking for a bit more of a “pop” than neutrals
deliver, but aren’t all about bright, wild colors, this lovely, warm palette
should suit you well. The shades are rich and deep, ranging from deep orange to
glitter gold to pearl brown. “Dawn to dusk” coverage keeps it looking fresh,
and vitamin infusions help protect your eyelids. The story behind this palette
is just as interesting as the colors themselves; Kat von D says it was inspired
by the metamorphosis of the butterfly.
It’s definitely an exciting time in the makeup and fashion
world; January is always a perfect excuse to change up your look and start
fresh. We’re excited to try these palettes, and we hope you are too!
